Stormbreaker
I am in a moment, a specific point in time
I am where I must be, I am the one I was meant to become.
I am as I am
I remember the hour of heavy weight - the hours that peeled my back and revealed the very bones of my character!
I stood at the crossroads where doubt felt like the only truth, and certainty was a hard-won choice.
I once asked the stars of my size in this gargantuan world - Am I too small?
I felt the cold needle of nihilism in my veins and believed in nothing, not even myself.
On sudden times, my eyes got blurry
Poured over the heavy rains, barely found my footing in the darkness of nimbus clouds
I shouted against the roar of the thunder until my own voice sounded like a stranger to me
Of most times, I must hold strongly before a great tornado could lift me up in circles to the skies threatening to tear the spirit from my chest.
I conquered.
Through it all, I remained faithful.
Against the gale, I stood like a mountain
(A mountain, so enormous it breaks the wind)
Where I saw rainbow after the rain,
Lika a mosaic, fractured, yet beautiful.
In this universe where fate holds the reins
Even the uncharted reach a shore
In this world, I am as I should be.
